Privacy Policy

Business Autolink ("we", "us"), Arusha, Tanzania, runs this website and the social media scheduling tool Business Autolink Postiz at postiz.businessautolink.com (the "Service"). This policy explains what data we handle and how.

1. This website

When you send us a consultation request we receive the details you type in the form (name, e-mail, phone/WhatsApp, website and your message). We use them only to reply to you and prepare your consultation.

2. Data from Facebook and Instagram

When a client connects a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account to the Service, with their explicit permission we receive:

• Account data: your Facebook user ID and name, and the e-mail address used to sign in to the Service.
• Page and Instagram data: the Pages you manage, the linked Instagram professional accounts, their names and profile pictures, and access tokens that let the Service publish on your behalf.
• Content you create: post text, images and videos you schedule, and the links of the published posts.
• Engagement and insights: comments on your posts and basic statistics (reach, impressions, likes), shown only to you.
• Technical data: server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and debugging.

3. How we use the data

• To publish and schedule the posts you approve, to the Pages and accounts you select.
• To show you comments and statistics for those posts.
• To keep the Service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the platforms you post to (Meta) and our hosting providers. Our use of information received from Meta follows the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

4. Where data is stored

The Service runs on a private server hosted by Hostinger (EU data centre). Encrypted nightly backups are kept in Google Drive under a Business Autolink account. Access tokens are stored encrypted and are never shown to users.

5. How long we keep it

Connected-account data and tokens are kept while the account is connected. Posts and media are kept until you delete them. Backups are kept for 14 days and server logs for 30 days.

6. Your rights and data deletion

You can disconnect a Page or Instagram account at any time inside the Service, or remove "Business Autolink Postiz" under Facebook Settings → Business Integrations. Disconnecting deletes the stored access token immediately. To delete all your data, follow our Data Deletion Instructions or e-mail us. We answer within 7 days.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change, and important changes will be announced inside the Service.
